The Two Rivers baseball team secured its first win of the season last night, taking down a visiting Valders squad 10-2.
The Raiders jumped out to an early 4-0 lead before bringing six runners across the plate in the 3rd inning.
Valders tried to start a comeback in the 5th, but could not get more than two runs.
Noah Shillcox had a good day on the mound, throwing five innings will giving up two unearned runs and striking out three batters.
Chase Rohrer closed out the matchup with three strikeouts in the final two innings.
At the plate, Derek Klinkner and Alex Johnson each had games to remember, each going 2 for 4 with three RBI.
The win ends a 12-game winless streak for Two Rivers, who will try to build on the win in New Holstein for a doubleheader Saturday.
The Vikings, meanwhile, fall to 4-7 on the season and will be at Sheboygan Falls on Monday.
