Several people had to be taken to local hospitals after a multi-vehicle crash in Outagamie County.
According to FOX11, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was informed of the crash at the Intersection of County Trunk S and Highway 47 in the Town of Center just after 11:00 a.m.
An investigation revealed that a 38-year-old Appleton man was driving an SUV east on County Trunk S with a 49-year-old New London man as a passenger.
He allegedly failed to yield the right-of-way to a pair of motorcyclists, a 64-year-old Appleton man and a 36-year-old Milwaukee man, who were traveling north on Highway 47.
The SUV struck both bikers, causing one of them and the SUV to hit a semi being driven by a 23-year-old Green Bay man.
The motorcyclists were each taken via ambulance to local hospitals with serious and critical injuries, while the passenger in the SUV was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.
The driver of the SUV has been arrested on a charge of Knowingly Operating While Revoked, Causing Great Bodily Harm.
