The city of Two Rivers will provide some of its services to a private condo group.
The city council voted 8-1 to approve a service agreement with the Blue Heron Condominium Association and allow City Manager Greg Buckley and the City Clerk to sign it.
Buckley says the condo association was developed with private infrastructure and the maintenance of roadways and sewer systems is their priority.
However, the agreement will allow the city to flush the private water and sewer mains and collect leaves.
Buckley says these are services that taxpayers already pay for, including those in the condo group.
Some council members were concerned about how far the agreement would go because the condos were privately funded.
