The Mishicot softball team picked up their 16th win of the season yesterday as they took down Manitowoc Lutheran in front of a home crowd 15-0.
Kirian Sanford was perfect on the mound, striking out 8 batters while not allowing a single base runner.
At the plate, the Indians only needed 7 hits, as they were patient in drawing 11 walks. Kasey Brouchoud was the most efficient, using her one hit to drive in 4 runs, while nearly every other batter picked up at least one RBI.
Even the Indian batters that didn’t get a hit still got on base, drawing at least one walk.
Over their 16-game win streak, the Indians have been utterly dominant, plating 193 runs while allowing only 10.
Mishicot will take today off before hosting their third straight game against the Lancers on Thursday.
