
51-year-old Paul Garchek, a former member of the Racine SWAT team, emerged as the primary suspect in a recent bank robbery and bomb threat incident in Pleasant Prairie.
Prosecutors announced charges against Garchek, alleging his involvement in both crimes, with investigations indicating that he initiated a bomb threat at Costco on 94th Avenue before subsequently robbing a Chase Bank branch in Pleasant Prairie.
Detectives utilized surveillance footage and phone records to track down Garchek, linking him to the offenses.
