The Kiel girls soccer team picked up another win over the weekend before suffering their first loss of the season.
The Raiders dominated Fox Valley Lutheran Saturday at Kaukauna, with Maddie McDole netting a hat trick, and Taavi Saeger adding a goal in the 4-0 win.
Daniel Mueller had a phenomenal game, making 10 saves.
The Raiders then faced the #5 ranked Division 1 team in the state, Menomonee Falls.
Head coach mike Pritchard called the Phoenix “one of the best teams we’ve played in my tenure”, which showed in the 2-0 loss for Kiel.
Mueller again played amazing, amassing 22 saves, while her teammates came up just short in a couple of solid scoring chances.
The Raiders are now 8-1-1 on the season and have a busy week ahead of them.
They will be at home tomorrow (April 30th) against Wrightstown, in Two Rivers Thursday, and at home again Friday for a game against Oostburg.
