The man who stabbed and killed a fellow inmate at the Green Bay Correctional Institution will be staying where he is.
FOX11 reports that the jury came back yesterday in the case of Joshua Scolman, who stabbed and killed Timothy Nabors, but claimed he was suffering from a mental disease at the time.
The jury did not agree, and rejected the plea.
Scolman killed Nabors in October of 2022 while also injuring Lamonte Washington, an attack that was deemed a hate crime.
Sentencing has been scheduled for Monday, however the length of time he will be in prison is already known.
His crimes call for a mandatory life sentence.
The only thing in question is if the judge will grant Scolman the opportunity for parole.
