The 26th Assembly District will have a new representative.
Rep. Terry Katsma of Oostburg announced today (April 26th) that he will not be seeking reelection for what would have been his 6th term.
Representative Katsma was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2014, and he currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the powerful Joint Committee on Finance and is a member of the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions.
He stated in his announcement that he has been honored to represent the 26th Assembly District for 10 years, calling Wisconsin a “wonderful place to live, work, and play.”
In the next chapter of his life, Katsma said he looks forward to “spending more time with my children, grandchildren, and many friends, as well as, traveling and taking more road trips with my wife, Nancy.”
