Every year, peregrine falcons make their nests at Wisconsin Public Service and We Energies power plants, and this spring is no different.
A total of 11 eggs have been laid at various plants throughout the area, and WPS is asking the public to help name them.
This year, the list of names to choose from honors athletes with Wisconsin ties who competed at either the summer or winter Olympic games.
This includes names like Khash (honoring Khris Middleton), Miracle (referencing the 1980 Olympic hockey team), and Fitz (in honor of Verona native and gold medal speedskater Casey FitzRandolph), just to name a few.
The full list can be found at SurveyMonkey.com/r/SquawkTheVote.
Voters can choose up to five names between now and May 9th.
