Work has officially begun on the new Braun Building Truss Plant in Two Rivers.
Crews have begun preparing the site for the 28,000-square-foot truss fabrication plant in the Woodland Industrial Park.
The legal process for this project began earlier this year when the Manitowoc-based company filed to purchase the plot of land and submitted architectural plans.
Not only was the plan approved, the Two Rivers City Council approved a cash grant of up to $450,000 from one of their TIF Districts to assist in the construction.
The City and Bob Braun of Braun Building Center have been working closely to get this project started, which will be within Tax Incremental District 14.
This means any taxes generated by the development will go right back into the development of that area.
