Kiel’s boys and girls track teams each picked up team wins at their home invite on Tuesday.
The girls were a full 16 points better than Sheboygan Falls, while Roncalli finished 3rd, and New Holstein rounded out the pack.
It was the same order for the boys, with the Raiders only six points better than their Falcon counterparts.
Kiel coach Lee Watson tells us the meet was delayed for around 40 minutes due to lightning, but overall called the event a “good meet.”
He had a lot to be happy about, as his runners, jumpers, and throwers earned a total of 17 first-place finishes and several personal bests.
Starting with the boys, Harison Zorn won the 100-meter dash, Landon Bruner was the fastest in the 300-meter hurdles, and Kaden Reiss earned a personal best while winning the 800-meter run.
In the 400-meter dash, Adler Curry and Logan Perl took the top two spots, with Perl’s finish being a personal best.
Both runners were also a part of the winning 4×800 relay, also consisting of Aiden Murphy and Tyler James, while the Raiders’ 4×200 relay team of Carson Woods, Braden Aprill, Logan Brunner, and Ethin Morgen, and the 4×400 relay team of Pierce Arenz, Ethan Vander Meer, Hayden Cafferty, and Kaden Reiss also took home top honors.
In the field events, Austin Reisterer went the highest in the pole vault, and Ryan Schad used a personal best throw in the discus to take home gold.
Kiel girls to claim wins were Maddison McDole in the 200 dash, Hailey Helms in the 300 hurdles, Addison Vogel in the 400 and 800 meter races, the 4×200 relay of Sara Riebe, Chelsea Schmidt, Maddison McDole, and Jayda Arenz, the 2×400 team of Jada Arenz, Lily Watson, Sara Riebe, and Chelsea Schmidt, and Jayda Arenz in the triple jump, who set a personal best with her teammate Ella Narrance, who finished 2nd.

Also, Natalie Kinzel came in first in the 100 hurdles, Grace Mueller won the high jump, and Amber Fiecko claimed the shot put and discuss events.
Also of note, Sheboygan Falls’ Rachel Halverson had a long jump of 16’ 6”, which was long enough to put her into the top 50 jumps all-time in the state of Wisconsin.
The record belongs to Rachel Blaskowski, who jumped 19’ 9.75” in 2022.
