The teen gunman in Green Bay has been identified.
According to FOX11, 15-year-old Freddrick Love-Kennedy has been charged with Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and had his bond set at $100,000 cash.
As per state law, Love-Kennedy’s case will start in adult court, but his attorney can ask for it to be moved to juvenile court at a later date.
The shooting occurred last Friday (April 19th) and was the culmination of a series of events that began last Wednesday.
A witness reported that Love-Kennedy had robbed the victim’s cousin that day, which led to two more fights throughout the week.
Love-Kennedy reportedly lost both fights and became “upset,” leading to the victim, Love-Kennedy, and several others meeting on Mills Street Friday evening.
That is when the shooting occurred, resulting in the 16-year-old victim suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
Love-Kennedy is due back in court on June 21st for a status hearing.
