The Mishicot baseball team added to its impressive win streak with a dominating performance against St. Mary Catholic yesterday.
The Indians scored 8 runs in the 3rd inning to cruise to a 12-2 win over the Zephyrs in Neenah.
Logan Marquart had a night to remember at the plate, scattering three of Mishicot’s 13 hits, including 1 RBI, while Nolan Sand went 2 for 5, including a double and a triple, and drove in four runs.
Brady Urbanek and Reid Strupp each also drove in a pair, while Kaden Teserik notched the final RBI.
On the mound, Sand had a solid start, going 5 innings and allowing 4 hits, and the Zephyrs only runs.
Will Garceau came on in relief and only allowed one baserunner in the final two innings.
The Indians improve to 7-1, with all of those wins coming after an 0-1 start.
Mishicot will try to sweep the mini-home and away series at home Thursday when St. Mary Catholic visits the village.
