A slow start and heavy winds threatened to end the Kiel girls’ soccer win streak, but in the end, the Raiders took care of business and took down Sheboygan Falls 4-1.
Head Coach Mike Pritchard said his time “didn’t wake up until the 2nd half,” but he praised Elisheba Sippel and Madison Gutschow for their work in their defensive zone and goalie Danielle Mueller for her 3-save night.
Taavi Saeger netted a pair of goals, while Maddie McDole and Lydia Vander-Meer each tallied one.
The Raiders are now 6-0 on the season and have won a staggering 34 games in a row dating back to last season.
The last time a Kiel soccer game did not end with a win was the first game of the 2023 season when they tied Kewaskum in the first game of the season.
The last time Kiel lost a game was in the Regional finale in 2021, when New Holstein edged out the Raiders 4-3.
The Raiders will be back in action today as they travel to Cedar Grove-Belgium to take on the 7-0 Rockets.
