The mother of a missing 3-year-old boy wants out of jail.
WBAY TV reports that Katrina Baur’s attorney has filed a motion with the court asking for her bond to be changed to a personal recognizance or signature bond.
Baur’s cash bond was initially set at $15,000 cash, which her attorney says she is unable to pay.
Baur is due back in court Friday, but a motions hearing was added to the schedule for next Tuesday (April 30th).
Baur has been in jail for two months, as she was detained shortly after her son Elijah Vue disappeared from the home of her boyfriend, Jesse Vang, on February 20th.
Vang was watching Elijah and disciplining him, allegedly because he was supposed to teach the 3-year-old how to “be a man.”
Both Vang and Baur have been charged with Child Neglect, with Vang next due in court on June 28th.
As of last Friday, Elijah has not been located, and no new details about where he may have come to light.
