The body of a missing Bellevue woman was pulled from the East River in Green Bay over the weekend.
The Green Bay Police Department reports that the body of a woman was found Saturday, and while the cause of death has not been determined, the public is not believed to be in any danger.
The Department did not identify the individual, but a member of her family contacted Seehafer News and confirmed the body was that of 22-year-old Ivonne Benitez, who had been missing since 11:30 of Friday, April 12th.
Benitez has family in Manitowoc, Two Rivers, and the Green Bay area, and they have set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
No additional details were released regarding her death or how she ended up in the East River.
