The Kiel girls soccer team continued its domination last night as the Raiders took down New Holstein 8-0.
Maddie McDole led the way for Kiel, netting a hat trick, while Taavi Saeger wasn’t far behind with 2 goals. Ella Vander Meer, Lydia Vander Meer, and Addison Vogel scored the final three goals.
Coach Mike Pritchard also Praised Bella Schrage for her defensive play and Kyliegh Kroll, who had a 2-save shutout.
The Raiders are now 5-0 on the season and have won 60 straight matches dating back to 2021.
The competition is about to get much more challenging, however, as the Raiders’ next game will be a rematch of last year’s Division 4 State Championship game.
Kiel, the 2nd ranked team in the state, will be at Cedar Grove-Belgium, squaring off with the top-ranked team in the state next Tuesday.
