Hector Jimenez-Sosa, one of the suspects implicated in a significant fentanyl distribution ring in western Wisconsin, appeared in court for the first time to face numerous drug-related charges.
The 41-year-old entered a plea of not guilty during his court appearance yesterday. Jimenez-Sosa is facing 27 counts in connection with a drug network spanning from Eau Claire to the Twin Cities.
Investigators allege that he obtained drugs through postal services and distributed them across the region.
Jimenez-Sosa is among six individuals arrested in February as part of a comprehensive law enforcement operation targeting drug trafficking in western Wisconsin.
