The Oshkosh Police Department is reporting two separate instances of home invasions.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Department said that the first incident was reported at 7:30 a.m. on April 1st.
A woman called to report that she saw a man standing in her bedroom doorway.
He fled the scene when the woman yelled at him.
The suspect is described as standing just over 6 feet tall with a skinny build and was said to be wearing a slim-fitting black jacket, dark pants, and a white mask.
That incident occurred in the 800 block of Vine Avenue, while the second occurred in the 1200 block of Wisconsin Street at around 4:00 a.m. on April 14th.
A woman called to report that she woke up to find a man standing over her.
Just as is in the first incident, the man fled when the woman screamed.
This individual was said to be standing around 5’ 10” to 6’ tall, with a muscular build.
He was believed to be college-aged with brown, chin-length hair, and was wearing a long-sleeved dark-colored t-shirt, dark pants, and a black ski mask that covered half of his face.
Anyone with any information on these incidents is encouraged to call the Oshkosh Police Department at 920-236-5700 or use the P3 Tips app.
