
Plymouth Police are helping investigate a threat at Riverview Middle School.
An announcement from Plymouth School District Superintendent Dan Mella says yesterday afternoon, teachers were made aware of an alleged threat of violence by a student.
The police were contacted directly and have been working with the District to assess the danger.
Police have been made aware of the student who made the threat.
That student will not be at Riverview Middle School for the time being.
Mella finishes by saying he understands the concern of the threat and wants everyone to know that the safety of children is of the staff’s utmost importance.
The announcement from the District didn’t specify the threat to the school.
