Efficient hitting and shutdown pitching were the keys to victory for the Mishicot baseball team yesterday as they took down a visiting Hilbert squad 15-0.
In total, the Indians scattered 11 hits, but only one went for extra bases.
That was a triple by Senior Logan Marquart, who ended the night 2 for 2 with 4 RBI.
Brady Urbanek, Kaden Teserik, and Reid Strupp all knocked in a pair, while Nolan and Sawyer Sand each notched one RBI.
On the mound, Nolan Sand went all five innings, allowing just one hit and 2 walks while striking out a whopping 14 batters.
The Indians have now won five in a row following a 0-1 start and have been explosive at the plate.
Over their five-game win streak, the Mishicot batters have driven in 59 hits while the pitchers have allowed only 12.
The Indians will square off with the Wolves again this Thursday, this time in Mishicot.
