An impressive win streak for Sheboygan Falls is now over, as the Kiel golf team earned a five-stroke victory Monday at the fourth EWC Mini-Tour Meet at Wander Springs Golf Club.
The Falcons’ win streak began last season, as they won the final six events of the year and the first three this spring.
Kiel ended Monday’s round with a 174, comfortably knocking off the Falcons, who finished with a 179.
Brillion finished 3rd at their home meet, followed by New Holstein, Valders, Roncalli, and the co-op of Chilton and Hilbert.
Valders’ Dylan Bramstedt was in the individual champion, ending the round with a 3 over par 39.
That was two strokes better than the Kiel duo of Dean Gibbs and Brady Ramminger, who each ended at 5 over par 41.
Owen Just was the top finisher for Roncalli, ending the round with a 9 over 45, good for a tie for 7th place.
Meet #5 next Tuesday (April 23rd) as Chilton plays hosts at Hickory Hills Country Club.
