An Allouez family may have been displaced by a fire Monday, but they are all uninjured, including the family dog.
According to WBAY TV, Green Bay Metro Fire was called to the 700 block of East Briar Lane at around 8:30 p.m. on a report of a garage fire.
Crews arrived to find the attached garage engulfed in flames, and three residents outside the home.
All three suffered various levels of smoke inhalation as they had been searching for their dog inside.
Firefighters were able to locate the canine, who was said to be perfectly fine.
Crews took down the fire within 10 minutes, but not before it caused an estimated $40,000 in damage.
The family has been displaced, and three people were treated at the scene by EMS.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the American Red Cross is assisting the family.
