A fond farewell was given to Chilton’s Police Chief as he moved on to his next chapter of life.
The Chilton Police Department stated in a post on Facebook that Chief Craig Plehn was an instrumental part of many projects for the city and department for the last decade.
They thanked Plehn for finding ways to innovate, improve efficiencies, and ensure we have the best police department possible.
The department finished by saying, while it’s hard to see him go, “We are happy he can enjoy his retirement with his friends and family.”
Plehn served 25 years in law enforcement, ten as the chief of police.
He announced his retirement during a meeting of the Chilton City Council in March.
