The Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team improved to 3-0 on the season thanks to a 7-3 win in Ashwaubenon last night.
The offensive output was efficient, using seven hits and eight walks to produce their seven runs.
Gavin Lettenberger knocked in a pair, as did Brady Hadler, whose hit in the 7th inning helped put the game out of reach.
Noah Wech’s lone hit went for a triple, as that was the only extra-base hit the Ships could muster all day.
Brayden Steinbecker had a solid start on the mound, going four and two-thirds innings while allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out eight batters.
Seth Gibault came on in relief, allowing six hits and two runs, and Lettenberger closed out the game, allowing one hit while striking out one batter.
