There will be a statewide tornado drill happening tomorrow.
Wisconsin Emergency Management and the National Weather Service are conducting the drill at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
It will include hearing automation from the NOAA weather radio test, and local communities might test tornado sirens.
The test is part of Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week.
The alerting systems used during the Statewide Tornado Drill are regularly tested in other ways and at other times of the year.
The live code test is not necessary for ensuring the readiness of the system, although many schools, businesses, and others continue to show interest in coordinating a statewide drill each spring.
