The bats were on fire for Manitowoc Lincon Baseball yesterday (April 9th), as they scattered 13 hits en route to an 8-3 win in Plymouth.
It was a balanced attack for the Ships, as eight players recorded at least one hit, with Trenton Ducat and Cade Grapentine each connecting three times.
That duo also combined for five innings on the mound, allowing four hits and three runs, before Gavin Lettenberger came on and closed out the final two innings with three strikeouts and no baserunners.
Benson Dickrell had another opportunistic day at the plate, with his lone hit driving home two runs.
The Ships start the year 2-0 and will hit the diamond again tomorrow for their second road challenge in a row.
They will be at Capital Credit Union Park to take on Ashwaubenon.
