Manitowoc Police has confirmed that they did an investigation involving the death of a child.
Police Chief Nick Reimer says they were called to Falling Star Childcare on Menasha Avenue on March 27th.
Reimer calls the incident very tragic for all involved as workers, officers, and EMS workers tried to resuscitate the child.
No charges have been filed in the case. Reimer says the privacy of the family is important as they grieve from this tragic incident.
