
Eleven people are facing charges following a drug bust in Oshkosh.
On the Oshkosh Police Department’s Facebook page, they stated that investigators with the department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted a lengthy investigation into a home in the 1400 block of Walnut Street, including a search using the local SWAT team.
In total, eleven people, ranging in age from 29 to 74 years old, were taken into custody, eight of them on outstanding warrants.
The eldest of the group is facing charges of Possession of Cocaine and Drug Paraphernalia, a 61-year-old woman is facing a charge of Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and a 44-year-old man was charged with two counts each of Manufacturing Cocaine and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place along with “several” counts of Bail Jumping.
The names of those involved have not been released. In the statement, the Oshkosh Police Department assured the public that they work “diligently to investigate crimes of this nature. Our mission is to promote public safety and enhance the quality of life in our community through innovative policing and community partnership. The safety of our citizens is our top priority.”
