The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating the death of a woman who was found near Pick ‘n Save.
The Department announced on Facebook that officers were called to the 1900 block of Venture Drive just after 8:45 a.m. Monday on a report of a woman lying in some grass.
The 68-year-old woman was determined to be deceased.
Investigators say her death does not appear suspicious at this time, but the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office will be conducting an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
The woman’s name and other identifying information have not been released.
