
The Valders Area School District has named its new superintendent.
Kristin DeTroye is taking over the role effective July 1st, bringing with her a wealth of experience.
DeTroye has an extensive background in education and has a vision to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and student-centered learning.
Kristin said in a news release that she is “deeply honored and humbled” to be selected and that she is looking forward to “working closely with students, parents, staff, and community members to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education and has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.”
Her hiring is still pending the formal approval of the school board, which will vote on April 15th during a special meeting.
