The Manitowoc Lutheran girls track and field team was victorious at the Mishicot quadrangular meet late last week.
The Lancers scored 77 points Friday at their first outdoor meet of the season, besting Kohler, Mishicot, and Howards Grove.
Their male counterparts finished fourth.
Lancer girls to earn first-place finishes were Juniors Maren Dewane in the 200-meter race and Bitsy Blauert in the long jump, sophomore Stevie Brunner in the high jump, and freshman Ava Stuebs in the triple jump.
Also, the 4×400 relay, consisting of Addie Korte, Brunner, Lilly Melhorn, and Stuebs, earned a gold medal, while the team also collected seven 2nd place finishes and three 3rd place.
For the boys, junior Gabe Stuebs won the 200- and 400-meter races while classmate Ryder Vogt claimed the 800 meter, sophomore Trenton Schettpelz won the triple jump, and the 4×400 relay of Vogt, Isaiah Muchka, Jayden Ott, and Blake Ott also finished on top.
According to coach Abbey Bubolz, the boys also captured two individual third-place finishes.
