A body was discovered in a lake in Oshkosh over the weekend.
Winnebago County investigators were called to Lake Butte Des Morts at around 7:10 p.m. Saturday after the body of an unnamed individual was found floating in the water near the Wiouwash Trail.
The body was that of an adult male, but no additional information on the individual has been released.
The investigation is in its early stages, with the Sheriff’s Office aided on the scene by the Oshkosh Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office.
