An employee at a Green Bay restaurant is now also being charged following an armed robbery.
According to WBAY TV, 30-year-old Abigail Guerrero, an employee at El Ranchito, was charged with Armed Robbery as a Party to the Crime and Obstructing an Officer.
The robbery occurred on February 13th, when Reinaldo Fuentes-Nietzche entered the restaurant in a mask.
He allegedly walked behind the counter and threatened Guerrero, who handed over an estimated $20,000 from a drawer that was just recently filled by management.
Investigators point to the timing of the robbery and Guerrero’s reaction to having a gun pointed at her as suspicious and eventually found that she had a previous relationship with Fuentes-Nietzche.
The handgun believed to have been used was located in a search, as was a large sum of cash, so both were arrested.
Fuentes-Nietzche is facing charges of Armed Robbery with Threat of Force, Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of THC, a 2nd or Subsequent Offense, as Party to the Crime.
Guerrero has been released on a $5,000 signature bond and is due in court on April 23rd for a preliminary hearing.
