A local non-profit, headed by a couple who are all too familiar with the importance of being trained with the use of epi-pens, will be hosting a free training session later this month.
Angel and George Mueller will be at the VFW in Mishicot, located at 314 West Main Street, for two epi-pen training sessions on Tuesday, April 30th.
The Muellers created the Dillon Mueller Memorial Fund in honor of their son, who passed away after having an allergic reaction to a bee sting.
They are also the driving force behind Dillon’s Law in Wisconsin, which allows any trained individual to carry and administer an epinephrine auto-injector without the fear of liability.
The one-hour-long classes are open to anyone, with sessions beginning at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
