As summer draws ever closer, counties around the state are gearing up for their annual Breakfasts on the Farm.
We previously reported that the Manitowoc County Breakfast on the Farm was going to be held on Sunday, June 9th, at Libertyland Farms in Newton.
Now, the Kewaunee County Dairy Promotion has revealed that their Breakfast will be held on Sunday, June 16th, at Heim’s Hillcrest Dairy, located at E3731 Rockledge Road in Algoma.
Over 200 volunteers will be on hand to help put on a catholic church service at 7:00 a.m. and to serve food from 8:00 until noon.
There will also be attractions for the whole family, including a petting zoo, horse and tractor-drawn wagon rides, live music, farm tours, and more.
As for the food, they are boasting “the biggest omelet you have ever seen,” along with rolls, cheeses, milk, pizza, cheese curds, and strawberry sundaes.
