One local referendum will move forward, while another will not.
The Town of Cato voted in favor of having the town board appoint a town Clerk/Treasurer, but the Valders Area School District will not get their revenue limit increase.
Residents in the district votes came in with 931 no to 874 yes, meaning the district can’t exceed its revenue limit by $1.3 million.
The money would have helped pay some special staff, improve technology at the school, or explore the opportunity to provide mental health support for students.
