
The city of Manitowoc will have two new members on the common council.
Unofficial vote totals show Brett Norell beating Incumbent Steve Czekala in the 9th District by 7 votes.
William J. DeBates also got 463 votes, meaning unless he says no, he will become the alderman for the 5th District.
Other incumbents won their races, including Jim Brey in the 4th District, who beat Dan Heilman, while Eric Sitkiewitz got more votes than Collin Braunel in the 6th.
In the 8th District, Incumbent Bill Schlei will retain his seat after having more votes than Bradley Barnes.
Three new city council members will be elected in Two Rivers.
Mark Bittner, Doug Brandt, and Shannon Derby were the top three vote-getters in the at-large race.
Incumbent Jeff Dahlke came in 4th ahead of Andrew Quackenbush.
In the Village of Cleveland, Candidates Jarrod Jackett, Becky L. Paasch, and Rob Burkhard will get a seat on the Board of Trustees.
These election results aren’t official until canvassing happens at the local and county levels.
Official results should come out later this month after the boards of canvassers meet.
