There are a pair of meetings on tap for today (April 1st) in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission, which will meet at the MPU Office on South 8th Street at 11:30 a.m.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Personnel Committee will convene in the Council Chambers.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will look over their usual monthly reports before discussing a request to hire seasonal employees related to elected officials, department heads, or supervisory personnel.
They will also discuss the seasonal police assistant’s pay rate and the duty pay rates for 2024.
The group will then enter a closed session to discuss a potential one-time bonus for a transit operations supervisor and a grievance filed by the firefighters union.
