Bellin and Gundersen Health System received the 2024 Advocacy All-Star Award at the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s (WHA) annual Advocacy Day event.
More than 700 hospital advocates were on hand as WHA Vice President of External Affairs Kari Hofer, presented them with the award that recognizes one hospital or healthcare system that exemplifies a dedication to grassroots advocacy.
Dr. Scott Rathgaber, CEO of Bellin and Gundersen Health System, accepted the award on behalf of the organization, and he said, “Bellin and Gundersen Health System helps our patients and communities amplify their voices to improve health and wellbeing, minimize the cost of care, and help everyone thrive.”
WHA’s Advocacy Day is the premier health care advocacy event in Wisconsin with more than 700 attendees representing nearly every hospital and health system in Wisconsin.
