Wisconsin is slated to receive a federal allocation of $12 million to bolster mental health support for students.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction will disperse the funds among forty local school districts.
State Superintendent Dr. Jill Underly emphasized that the financial assistance will enable schools across Wisconsin to procure essential resources and staffing to address the individual mental health needs of students.
