The City of Two Rivers’ tourism department is now offering what they are calling Opportunity Grants.
Explore Two Rivers is using a portion of the Room Tax funds for the grants, which will range from $500 to $5,000.
In the announcement, Tourism Director Joe Metzen explained that the Opportunity Grant program was established to “provide direct operating and marketing assistance grants to organizations that host and operate existing or new tourism events.”
The grants are designed for any project or event that will lead to a direct correlation to overnight stays in the Cool City, which then would add more to the Room Tax fund.
