HAZMAT teams were called to assist at the scene of a fire in Green Bay.
FOX11 reports that Green Bay Metro Fire dispatched crews to the 1300 block of Argonne Drive at around 10:45 a.m. yesterday (March 27th) on a report of a fire in a two-stall garage.
Firefighters arrived to find the flames bursting through the roof and heavy black smoke billowing into the sky.
After crews were able to subdue the flames, they found a pair of propane tanks that had been damaged and were leaking.
The Green Bay HAZMAT team was called in to assist in dealing with the 20-pound and 100-pound tanks and to monitor the air quality downwind of the leak.
The incident is estimated to have caused around $70,000 in damage, while no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
