There are four contested races for a seat on the Manitowoc Common Council in the April 2nd election.
In District 4, Incumbent Jim Brey is running against Dan Heilman for the seat that he’s held for the last 20-plus years.
In District 6, Collin Braunel is challenging Incumbent Eric Sitkietwiz, while Bill Schlei hopes to retain his District 8 seat while running against Bradley Barnes.
Lastly, Incumbent Steve Czekala is being challenged by Brett Norell for his 9th District seat on the council.
The seat in District 5 is also up for election.
However, Darian Kaderabek decided not to run for the seat, and unless a write-in gets more votes, the seat will go to William J. DeBates.
Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. for the General Election.
