A recent analysis conducted by The Business Journal has identified the University of Wisconsin-Madison as the most selective higher education institution in the state.
The analysis, which utilized data from the U.S. Department of Education, revealed that UW-Madison had an acceptance rate of slightly over 49 percent last year.
Over 29 percent of accepted applicants ultimately enrolled.
Following UW-Madison in the rankings were UW-La Crosse, the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and UW-Eau Claire among the state’s top colleges.
