The mother of 3-year-old Elijah Vue is pleading not guilty to charges surrounding his disappearance.
31-year-old Katrina Baur was in Judge Robert Dewane’s courtroom Friday afternoon for an arraignment hearing.
Her Attorney, Ann Larson, said her client received a copy of information surrounding the case and will not ask for a substitution of judge.
After Dewane received the not-guilty plea, he set Baur’s next court date for April 26th at 8:30 a.m. for further proceedings.
She’s charged with chronic neglect as a child as a party to a crime and two counts of restating or obstructing a police officer.
Her partner Jesse Vang had a preliminary hearing Thursday (March 22nd), to which Judge Dewane “tolled the time limits” so his lawyers could get familiar with the case before moving forward.
His next court date is set for April 4th at 11:00. Elijah is still missing and hasn’t been seen since he was reported missing on February 20th.
