A Milwaukee woman has been sentenced to a decade in prison following her conviction in a drunk-driving case in Waukesha.
27-year-old Shauntonae Walton pleaded guilty in October to charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and knowingly operating a vehicle without a valid license, causing death.
The incident, which occurred in mid-December 2022 at 91st and Bradley Road, resulted in the death of her cousin, DeeAnna Edwards.
