Envelope containing voting ballot papers being sent by mail for absentee vote in presidential election
Voters across the state began filling out ballots for the Spring Election.
However, those in Sheboygan are being advised that there were a couple of misprints on the ballot sent out by the City Clerk’s office.
In a post on the City’s website, Veronica Valdez, the Assistant to the Mayor, explained that in the section pertaining to the Multi-jurisdictional Municipal Judge race, the “language ‘Vote for 1’ is not adequately delineated for each respective section.”
Additionally, Valdez noted that there is a “typographical error present on the 2nd page of the ballots.”
She apologized for the confusion and any inconvenience these mistakes have caused. Corrected ballots can be found at MyVote.WI.gov.
Any Sheboygan County residents with questions about the ballots are encouraged to contact Sheboygan County Clerk Jon Dolson at 920-459-3003.
