
A local husband and wife have been handed significant penalties in an animal cruelty case.
Kyle and Stephanie Lincicum were ordered to pay nearly a quarter of a million dollars in restitution after authorities discovered approximately 200 deceased goats on their farm in late June.
Kyle Lincicum pleaded guilty to 23 charges related to the goats’ deaths, resulting in a sentence of almost 16 years in jail and $240,000 in restitution.
Stephanie Lincicum received an 18-month jail sentence and five years’ probation.
