The city of Manitowoc will continue to work on areas in and around the Manitowoc River Harbor.
A 3-year improvement plan was approved by the common council Monday night.
The plan is more focused on intentions, meaning that not all the projects will get done right away and could go in order of importance.
Some of the projects include dredging the Manitowoc River to help businesses like Burger Boat and adding a concrete assembly platform and a ramp to allow for more crane configurations.
There could also be some improvements to a wall where the S.S. Badger is docked next as well.
The project could also include improvements to the loading ramp and better access for those with a disability because ADA accessibility is limited.
The projects are generally located around the downtown area of the river.
